What Happens After the Physical Exam: Plan of Management and Informed Consent

After gathering all the necessary information from your history and physical exam, we’ll create a customized Plan of Management that is unique to you. In this blog, we’ll explain what goes into this plan and why informed consent is so important:

  1. Creating a Personalized Plan: Based on your unique needs, we’ll design a treatment plan that addresses the root causes of any dysfunction, while working toward your specific goals. This could include duration and frequency of the plan, the types of treatment methods (soft tissue therapy, joint mobilizations, chiropractic adjustments etc.), any functional movement prescriptions and a lot of education. The plan of management is not only unique to you but we also like to enforce that this is a team based approach between Dr. Keirstyn and you. Our goal is to get you better in a way that works best for you!

  2. Informed Consent: Your involvement in the process is essential. We'll explain each treatment option in detail, including any risks or benefits, so you can make an informed decision about your care. This ensures that you’re comfortable and fully aware of the plan moving forward.

Having a clear and transparent plan gives you peace of mind and a roadmap for your recovery and performance journey. To start your journey, reach out to us today!
