Your Questions Answered

Yes! One of main goals at Endurance is to make the entire process as easy as possible for the patient. We direct bill to most insurance companies!
DO I NEED A DOCTOR’S REFERRAL?
No you do not. A chiropractor is a primary health care giver and therefore they can be the first person you see.
IS THE CHIROPRACTOR JUST GOING TO ADJUST ME?
Of course not. This is a myth that chiropractors only adjust their patients. Chiropractors have an extensive amount of education and skills to treat all soft tissue and joints that will indirectly treat the nervous system. Some examples of the injuries Dr. Keirstyn treats are below:
- Hips
- Knees
- Shins
- Ankles
- Feet
- Running Gait
- Shoulders
- Elbows
- Wrists
- Neck
- Jaw/TMJ
- Mid back
- Low back
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A CHIROPRACTOR AND PHYSIOTHERAPIST?
Now a days the differences between chiropractors and physiotherapists are minimal. Every practitioner has their own unique way of treating their patients and therefore the treatment techniques can be different from physiotherapist to physiotherapist and chiropractor to chiropractor. However, the main difference is in the schooling. Chiropractors complete an additional 4 years of schooling once graduated from university. This enables them to earn the title of Doctor of Chiropractic.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT AT MY FIRST VISIT?
We begin with a thorough and detailed health history. Next step is to conduct a physical examination. Once we have a better understanding of the full picture, we will discuss a personalized plan of management and what the timeline will look like. There will also be some time for treatment at the end depending on time left after the assessment.
